Fernando’s restaurant at Macau

Its getting to the end of our fantastic family vacation in Macau. We plan to checkout and lunch at the highly recommended fernando’s on hac sa beach, slightly out of town and nearly the opposite side of where we were located. After the cab zipped us by the bridge, we finally reached the beachside restaurant with a very homely atmosphere, breezy backyard and friendly and wonderful cast around us. After we enjoyed and satisfied our hunger with the finger licking curry and friend king prawns, when it came to paying the bill we realised that the only payment accepted is CASH. Alas we were short of it as we were carrying minimal cash to get back to hongkong. “No problem said the counter. we will post you the bill and you can send us the cheque.” This trust demostrated by the restaurant not only saved the day, but also encouraged us to send me the cheque as soon as we reached Hongkong. In a age when people are counted as $$, this proved that there were people and places with a different mindset towards customers. WOW!
